What is up y'all? Y'know, I used to work in specialty coffee, so I'm always on the lookout for a great coffee spot. Play Coffee is one of my favorites, located in Orange. It took over an old bank, so you can still see the teller stations as well as the vault! Sheesh! Such a pretty space! We came here and ordered some real fun drinks, but honestly, everything here is good. I've gotten everything from the pour-overs to the lattes, and my guilty pleasure is the espresso tonic. It's espresso, tonic water, and often flavored with orange! A refreshing drink to enliven your day! I'm not a huge coffee fan, so I got a tea punch, and it was just as refreshing! Really similar in preparation to the espresso tonic, so you're still getting those amazing fresh flavors, but with tea instead of coffee! Our friend Kaitlyn also got a matcha drink that we all thought was super tasty too! They don't miss here. Tip 'em and sip 'em, guys. Come by if you want to get some work done, or just chill out on your off day! You gotta get out of the way, and get over to Play!

Play Coffee is a very modern cafe and it's located in Old Town Orange. I came here after dinner with a friend. The drinks were pretty good and solid. There were so many people studying and it was so quiet. I was shocked how quiet it was but it was pretty packed. The reason why I'm taking off one star was because it was hot and seemed like they didn't turn on any air conditioning. I get it that I went at nighttime about an hour before they closed but it was still summer. I felt so stuffy and left soon after. The cafe is very spacious and has a good vibe overall.

Almond Milk 【宇治抹茶薰衣草拿铁】 来杯甜的收尾，配方完美，所有配料的比例都恰到好处，抹茶以香为主、顺滑细腻，薰衣草糖浆很好地隐藏了甜度，整体风味平衡，后调也不会有酸涩的感觉 ******* CARDAMOM BUN 【小豆蔻面包】 混合香料的味道真的太香了！质地瓷实，面粉感重，要是店里能提供复热，那得多好吃呀...

My friend raved about this spot. We came in for her birthday and she wasn't lying. It's great coffee! Friendly service and a good vibe inside. Sit inside or take it to go.

Solid multi-roaster coffee shop in Downtown Orange Firstly, as a graphic designer, I can't help but be impressed by Play's excellent branding direction. The blue pops so well! Menu is simple but also offers some variety. They've got plenty of options from classics to signature beverages. Loved all of the different options for matcha as well, each listed with its recommended pairing (i.e. latte, tonic). By far the best cold brew I've had in the area. I was told that the beans they use for cold brew rotate, but whatever's been being served the first week of August 2024 has been pretty tasty. I got notes of cherry and dark chocolate. Not too acidic, but not too dark :) Very nice space and amicable + helpful staff!

This is a really cool spot that turned an old bank into a coffee shop with a lot of seating. Lot of students or remote workers come here to work. The coffee is amazing and I ended up with their volcano latte which uses raw brown sugar for the flavor profile. The caffeine in the drinks are strong and if you're feeling not too much caffeine then matcha would be a good alternative. The service was friendly and gave me a lot of options with also having pastries that were vegan/gluten free options.

What a cool location for a coffee shop! The inside used to be a bank so theres a lot of open space and seating. I tried their matcha strawberry and shaken maple latte. The matcha was a bit sweeter than I like but the latte was good. The drinks here are a bit expensive but the baristas are super friendly. Definitely check this place out!! :) they have cool chairs

The baristas are very sweet, but either they're too quiet or the reverb in the building is too great for their voices to carry. I didn't notice that my drink was available until five minutes after it was called. I ordered a volcano latte, it's initially sweet with the acidity of the coffee following right after in taste.
